The Sony KDL-55W900A 55-Inch. This Sony TV only has three reviews on Amazon.com none of them negative, but it really shocked me because it looked like an incredibly nice TV but then I noticed the price, originally it was $3000 now it’s in the $2000 range and maybe that’s why the reviews of this TV are no necessarily palling up. Lets look over what we do have, and see what we can conclude from this. Apparently people enjoy the quality color of this model, and they fill that the technology is incredibly innovative because the nice greens, and blues are very exotic and it has very deep blacks. Some people feel that the price is fair especially for the quality of the TV. They also said that streaming Netflix through the Wi-Fi only takes minimum time and is quite easy. It has step-by-step instructions given to you just follow them and you will have the TV running in minutes. Some guy even went as far as to say, wow was his reaction especially once he change the settings on the TV to even out the colors to his specific settings at that point he said he was completely blown away. He loaded up something called fireworks in HD he said it made his jaw drop. The software on this TV is on the pro level, and tweaking this TV is incredibly easy you can change the settings at the drop of a dime. Some people even went as far to say this is the best 1080p TV on the market right now. Apparently the web browser is worthless which is no surprise because usually when it comes to smart Tv’s, web browsing is just something they add on for perks it doesn’t necessarily incorporate flash or Silverlight so the web browser of course isn’t going to be useful. But Pandora seems to work very well on this TV, which is a great plus. So overall all the reviews seem to be very positive, the only thing that was complained about was some of the buttons on the remote and how it doesn’t have the favorites button. So I’m going to definitely give the Sony KDL-55W900A 55-Inch 240Hz 1080p 3D Internet LED HDTV (Black) a 9 out of 10 simply because it looks great and the reviews were detailed and the cons in the review were not very negative.

The Sony KDL-40R450A 40-Inch. Now this Sony TV set is superb this company basically spares no detail when it comes to technology. So far on the review boards this thing has 42 reviews 33 people give it five stars, five people give it four stars, one person gives it three stars, two people give it two stars, and one person gives it one star. Now without further delay let’s start the review. A lot of people are saying although this is a 60 Hz TV, it has the motion flow of a 120 Hz TV which is no surprise to me Sony’s products usually are at least two steps ahead of their competitors. It works well with other devices such as Roku, so you have no issue hooking things up to the TV. Apparently this set is incredibly thin and light so hats off to Sony for making such a big TV so easily moved. The TV also seems to be able to interact with your smart phone so im pretty sure you can use it as a remote, or activate certain apps and play certain things using it. Unfortunately this set only has two HDMI ports which is quite a drawback, if you have multiple media players that you would like to hook up at one time. You have a PlayStation, and Xbox, and Nintendo Wii you’ll only be able to connect two of these devices at once and you have to switch the cables out no big deal but still a small hassle. Fortunately it does have a USB port, but it only has one and by using the USB port, you can load up your photos, you can load up your music, and your videos as well so you’ll be able to listen to your music and watch your videos. Overall this TV seems to be incredibly impressive and more then 96% of the reviews are incredibly positive. I also hear that it ranks a little better than average when it comes to the sound quality which is no surprise seeing Sony does make speakers. So overall after looking over this set it seems like it’s an incredible piece of equipment if you’re looking for a nice decent size 40 inch either for a small living room or a nice sized bedroom this is definitely one of the sets you want to look into. So I’m going to give the Sony KDL-40R450A 40-Inch 60Hz 1080p LED HDTV (Black) a 9 out of 10.
The Sony Bravia KDL55HX750 55-Inch. The Bravia seems to be a great set there are 84 customer reviews on Amazon.com 54 people give it five stars, 17 people give it four stars, five people give it three stars, one person gives it two stars, and seven people give it one star. Now lets see why some people were upset and why the majority were happy with what they got lets get into the review. Netflix app doesn’t let you rate media nor does it have any search memory. Amazon doesn’t have a watch recently list which is slightly lame, and it also doesn’t have any search memory.
Youtube doesn’t get too many complaints but some people were upset about the subscriptions being buried in the menus. Facebook apparently has a decent layout but it only displays a small amount of posts, and within twitter you don’t seem to be able to follow any links and the Wi-Fi signal seems to be a little bit outdated. The audio of course gets a plus which again is no surprise because Sony makes speakers. Also the 3-D apparently, to everyone was a surprise because it actually is pretty impressive and is able to simulate a nice 3-D environment and immerse you. The picture seems to get great reviews but of course like with any other set they want you to calibrate to make sure that it fits your needs. They also have a lot of settings online so that you can make sure that you get the best picture quality out of your set. All your favorite apps are preinstalled like Youtube, Netflix and of course Hulu so that saves you a lot of time all you do is turn it on. Make sure the software is updated and click on favorite apps. So far after looking at it seems that it’s a great TV, and it has wonderful picture quality, the only problem that people seem to have with it is that a few UI elements seem to be off but with these smart TVs you can’t necessarily expect to get the full Internet browsing experience the reason why it connects to the Internet in the first place is so that you can activate the apps not so that you can browse the Internet as if you have your own personal laptop or desktop computer. So overall I think i’m going to give the Sony BRAVIA KDL55HX750 55-Inch 240Hz 1080p 3D LED Internet TV, Black, a 8 1/2 out of 10.
