Lets go over these reviews and see why people rank this TV so favorably. First off the people are saying this TV has great blacks, the picture quality seems to be more than quite adequate. So apparently this TV uses passive 3-D so it’s simultaneously showing you two images and both of your eyes. It gives the brain the effect of actual real 3-D, the quality of the three apparatus on the CV is truly amazing. Unfortunately the menus don’t seem to be two in depth and they have a very slow response time once you start to click around and hit the buttons. The remote has a Netflix button which takes a lot a hassle out of bringing up Netflix, you can also plug in the USB keyboard or a wireless keyboard and mouse as well. The great thing about it is, the software of the TV is actually upgradable which is something that you want to look for because as time goes on you don’t want to continue to buy a new TV just so u can have an upgraded version of the Smart TV software. The overall design of the remote seems to be one of the main pluses with this TV. People like the remote activation buttons it has on it and the shortcuts that it has as well. This TV is a energy saver, that a major plus especially with this economy. It also seems to have excellent picture for Blu-ray and also screens very well with Netflix and YouTube the HD quality remains. The motion flow on this set seems to be very smooth. Also it gets an excellent sound quote which is no surprise because Sony makes speakers. Overall this TV seems to be a great model if you’re looking for something in this size I definitely would recommend going with the Sony anyway seeing as they do make the highest quality product and have for decades. So I think I might give the Sony KDL-70R550A 70-Inch 120Hz 1080p 3D Internet LED HDTV (Black) a good 9 1/2 out of 10 because I respect the quality of the TV and the cons for this TV are not necessarily something to shake a stick at.
