I have high hopes for this set, and even though it is slightly expensive it still has 188 reviews on Amazon.com which was a slight surprise. Let’s go over these reviews first off 115 people gave it five stars, 35 people give it four stars, 17 people give it three stars, 11 people gave it two stars, and 10 people gave it one star, lets see why these people feel this way and get on with the review. Most people turn the TV on and are impressed with it at first sight, it seems to have incredible picture quality, and once the settings are tweaked the quality only gets better. I see no problem reports about the picture being out of focus or having lines across the screen. A lot of people tested incredibly fast-moving scenes across the screen just to see if the motion flow would break up or become choppy, the majority of the reviewers said that the motion flow was great, there was less pixelation and there was no choppiness or ghosting on the screen. It seems the smart TV features on this particular set are quite adequate, and it load to the Internet fast and its WiFi connection seems to be very accessible. It seems the menus and the remote control have an incredibly easy design even a child can use it which is great because it has easy access to all the programs that you want without a complex remote set up. Unfortunately the on screen keyboard is actually unsatisfying and a lot of people say that the Hulu app frequently freezes. Also the Internet browsing experience with this particular unit seems to be a big problem, a lot of people are complaining about it but realistically that’s happens with pretty much every TV on the market, they don’t incorporate flash or
Silverlight so the browsing experience isn’t necessarily the best. But overall after reviewing this TV it seems like it’s pretty decent, the things that people are complained about aren’t necessarily super negative and they won’t debilitate you while using this TV. Overall this is a incredibly expensive set and if you have the money I would defiantly recommend getting it. Reviews on this have been actually long and detailed I won’t necessarily be over them cover to cover, but I will give you as much information as I possibly can. The color seems to be incredibly bright, the image is incredibly sharp and clear, they have a lot of settings on here so you can get the perfect quality for your eyes specifically. It also has a vivid setting which is quite useful but it seems like a few of the colors start to bleed into each other. However if you do a few tweaks it seems that you might get the best view if you want to. It has a sound system built into this it’s actually pretty good which is realistically no surprise when it comes to Sony their sound systems usually are quite decent when it comes to TV sets because Sony actually makes speakers which gives them a edge on that market. The motion on this TV seems to be great there is no motion blur or technical problems with incredibly fast movement on the screen which is definitely a plus when you’re watching NFL or NBA games. The Internet capability seems to be quite adequate the wireless system connects fast and you can navigate to sites quite easily, everything seems to be smooth and there isn’t any screen blurring on screen, which is definitely a plus. Overall this unit seems like a great add on for your entertainment system all the aspects of it seemed to be great, the appearance seems to please the eye. If your trying to show off to company this definitely a TV you want in your home theater. I’ve enjoyed looking at this and reading the reviews on it I’m definitely going to give the Sony XBR-55X900A 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz 3D LED UHDTV a 9 out of 10 and that is simply because all the reviews had nothing but mostly positive things to say about it, the negative aspects of the TV were not something to shake a stick at so a nine is a great score.
